SugarHouse Sportsbook has reason to celebrate.

As of May 31, Pennsylvania’s first licensed sportsbook app is officially live. And anyone 21 and older and currently in the Keystone State can use SugarHouse to place a legal sports bet. It’s the one and only, at least for now.

And parent company Rush Street is celebrating this milestone with an attractive offer for Pennsylvania sports betting customers.

Vig-free NBA Finals bets

PlaySugarHouse.com is activating no-vig bets on NBA Finals games in Pennsylvania. It’s similar to the way this “exciting promotion is currently offered in New Jersey:”

For the entire series, from 10 a.m. EST until tipoff on game day, the main line spread will be priced at +100 for both the Toronto Raptors and the Golden State Warriors.

Kawhi Leonard and the Raptors took Game 1 Thursday night in Toronto, 118-109.

Could the Warriors, minus Kevin Durant, even the series on Sunday night? With odds of +100, the scenario is certainly intriguing. After all, they are the back-to-back defending NBA champions.

The offer is, “ensuring bettors receive unbeatable value as they try out the site during this busy time in the sports season,” per SugarHouse PR.

Another SugarHouse first

SugarHouse is hitting regular milestones when it comes to sports betting. Back in December, the property was the first of the Philadelphia-area casinos to launch retail sports betting.

This is a temporary space. The permanent location is under construction.

Now, those same customers can wager on the NBA, PhilliesEagles or another team of choice at the betting windows, at one of the betting kiosks, or via the PlaySugarHouse app.

Rob Long, general manager of Sugarhouse Casino, shared his excitement over the sports betting expansion via the press release.

“Since opening, our SugarHouse Sportsbook has been buzzing with sports fans 24/7.

“Whether they’re watching Philly teams on the big screen or following a soccer game or tennis matches livestreamed directly from the French Open to PlaySugarHouse.com, the action is round the clock, and now with online and mobile sports betting, you can take it with you.”

Looking at you, New Jersey

SugarHouse is certainly not a new player in the mobile sports betting game.

The SugarHouse platform (which includes an online casino in NJ) has enjoyed its share of success since its late summer launch. According to the release, PlaySugarHouse is one of the top four performing digital sportsbooks in NJ since the market launched.

There is no reason why that success can’t translate over to the PA side.

Richard Schwartz, president of Rush Street Interactive, elaborated on the success in the press release:

“Rush Street Interactive has grown market share since entering the New Jersey market in 2016, in large part due to the quality of PlaySugarHouse.com experience and a laser focus on delivering what our players want, a massive range of sports betting options, responsive customer service and fast payouts.

“We have now brought the same quality, award-winning PlaySugarHouse.com site to players in the state of Pennsylvania.”

How to bet on the NBA Finals

Now that the three days of Pennsylvania Gaming Control Boardmandated testing are wrapped up, full-blown online sports betting can begin. However, before placing an NBA Finals or Stanley Cup Finals wager, there are a couple of steps to complete first.

Obviously, you need to for an . If you’re an NJ customer, you will need to create a PA as the platforms are completely separate.

Funding your is the next step. Deposits can be made via PayNearMe along with credit cards, cash at the casino cage and prepaid cards.

Additionally, sorry iOS s, but the SugarHouse app, at least the PA version, continues to face troubles getting into the app store.

Issues aside, whether you are a Raptors fan or on the Golden State bandwagon, getting to bet on the action on your phone or computer is something worth celebrating.
