Pennsylvania online casinos raised the bar for the US iGaming market once again in March. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported that online casinos in the state produced $294.2 million in revenue for the month, which is a new single-month US record.
New Jersey and Michigan online casinos similarly set records for their respective markets in March. Those figures came last week. Given its greater population, it’s unsurprising that the Keystone State would top both figures, but it did so in a big way.
Pennsylvania easily cleared the previous record of $281.2 million that was set last December. Revenue has decreased in the first two months of 2025, a potential indication that growth was slowing.
However, March’s figure puts that to rest, as the experienced a month-over-month increase of 12.5% and a year-over-year increase of 26.2%.

Hollywood Penn National license reaches an all-time high
The PGCB does not break down revenue by operator, so it’s difficult to see the exact contributions from platforms. The Hollywood Penn National license set a record in March, recording $109.5 million in revenue.
Granted, the license has two of the top three market leaders, which include BetMGM. The success of those two operators goes without saying.
Hollywood is also partnered with its own brand, along with released the following statistics about the Hollywood platform:
