FanDuel Casino has announced the launch of its new progressive jackpot system in Pennsylvania, spanning multiple games. Earlier this year, the operator soft-launched the opt-in feature in New Jersey and Michigan, so it is now available in three states.
Progressive jackpots give online casino players more of an opportunity to win prizes. Only certain slots and table games are eligible for the jackpot.
Players must opt into the feature while playing participating games, for an additional fee. The cost is the same $0.10 regardless of the player’s base wager, as are the chances of winning one of four jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major or Mega Jackpots.
Andrew Gradwell, Senior Vice President of FanDuel Casino, said in a statement emailed to PlayPennsylvania:
“At FanDuel Casino we’re all about the winning feeling, and with FanDuel Casino Jackpots we’re taking it up a level with more jackpots and more winners than ever before.
“Adding this extra layer of excitement onto our range of top and exclusive games, players now have more chances to win every time they play one of their favorite online casino games.”
Key acquisition helped FanDuel expand into progressive jackpots
New Jersey and Michigan players has seen the fruits of FanDuel’s progressive jackpot system. Since the program launched in early this year, 50,000 players have already won jackpot prizes, with more than 1,500 winners per day.
More winners are going to expand into the Keystone State. FanDuel’s jackpot would not be possible without the acquisition of BeyondPlay, which was made in February 2024.
Karolina Pelc, CEO of BeyondPlay, said in a statement:
“We are incredibly proud to deliver on our promise to the FanDuel team by providing them with best-in-class jackpot technology, leveraging the deep expertise of our team at BeyondPlay.
“This launch is something we’ve been eagerly anticipating, and seeing it go live across three states is a true testament to the strength of collaboration between our teams — now all part of FanDuel.”
BeyondPlay specializes in custom jackpot campaigns. According to its website, it’s the only software related to jackpots licensed in key online casino markets.
Progressive jackpots have certainly made online casinos much more interesting, especially in Pennsylvania. The Keystone leads all iGaming markets, as it produced $294.2 million in March revenue, which is a US record.
It is almost certain progressive jackpots are going to make the online gambling even stronger in Pennsylvania.
